What is analog mastering?

Analog mastering uses high-end analog equalizers, compressors and converters to shape tone, depth and dynamics before digital release. It adds warmth and musical character that purely digital processes often lack.

What is Dolby Atmos mastering?

Dolby Atmos mastering prepares music in an immersive 3D audio format. At eMastering, Atmos sessions are created and balanced to translate accurately on streaming platforms like Apple Music and Tidal, as well as consumer playback systems.

What is the difference between online and attended mastering?

Online mastering allows you to upload your mix remotely for analog or hybrid processing and quick turnaround. Attended mastering lets you be part of the session in Arnhem or via real-time high-quality audio stream.

How long does mastering take?

Most online mastering projects are delivered within three to five business days. Attended or Dolby Atmos projects may take slightly longer, depending on complexity and revisions.

Which formats do you deliver?

Final masters are delivered as 24-bit WAV, 16-bit CD/DDP, and optional high-resolution or streaming-optimized formats. Dolby Atmos masters are supplied as ADM files and checked for streaming compliance.

Can I attend a Dolby Atmos mastering session remotely?

Yes. You can join an Atmos session via secure HD audio stream with video, hearing the exact playback from the mastering suite in real time.

Do you offer stem mastering?

Yes, stem mastering provides deeper control over balance and tone across grouped elements such as vocals, drums or instruments. It’s ideal for fine-tuning mixes while retaining analog color and depth.

Eva – Freelance Mix & Mastering Engineer & RX EXPERT

Eva Stuiver is a mastering engineer with a Bachelor’s degree in Music Technology. She previously interned at Audiotree in Chicago, Julia Borelli in Berlin, and Askjell Solstrand in Norway, experiences that shaped her collaborative approach with indie artists and deepened her expertise in mastering. She is currently completing her internship at eMastering, where she is able to work fully independently in both The Two and The Three.

Her approach is defined by a strong focus on emotion and atmosphere, always placing the artist’s musical intent at the forefront. In addition, Eva is a true RX specialist, with advanced skills in audio editing and restoration. And today she’s improving her skillz in the legendary Cedar Retouch Plugin!
